Well here we are, As a Mother of two wonderful boys I have learned to find cheap and easy ways to make things I need or would like. Through my group of friends I have learned to source free items and upcycle them into something pretty and usable. I Love Everything about upcycling and keeping things out of the landfill.
Hopefully through my blogs you will learn something new.
Paper beads
What you will need.
Cocktail sticks
Pva glue or mod podge
Ruler
Paper or magazines
Various Pens ( The girls in my crafting group prefer metallic)
little block of Polystyrene
And sharp Scissors.
Instructions:
Take your paper At the bottom of each page Mark 1cm then 1.5cm all the way along the bottom. Turn your paper and do the same again. Join your marks together forming Triangles.
Cut your triangles out, Get your cocktail stick and roll around the stick tightly and seal with glue. Place your paper bead and cocktail stick into Polystyrene allow your beads to dry fully before removing them and placing them in a container.
Once you have Enough beads, Enjoy making your friends and family some beautiful necklaces or friendship bracelets.
